What makes laundry items discolor after the first wash?

Just bought brand new towels - not cheap ones - washed them as directed and they came out looking like some bleach got in there or something - WHY?!What makes laundry items discolor after the first wash?
you may have had spilled bleach...do you mean spotted?

If color loss, the over dye on the unwashed towel came out in the first wash. TAke them backWhat makes laundry items discolor after the first wash?
Probably because some bleach got in there, perhaps left in the machine from earlier. I presume the towels were colored and that this happened at a laundramat. Sometimes the manufacturer can be at fault and there should be a phone # on the package.
at least they are not datcolor
Maybe you:

1. washed them at too high temperature

2. used the detergent for white clothes

3. maybe they have a low quality color - I have the same problem with my new skirt and it was also not a cheap one

Tip: You can color them by clothes colors which are very cheap. If it doesn't color them enough the first time, try more times with more color. It works very well.
