I have to do laundry. Do i wash socks in hot or cold water? can i mix screen print t-shirts in the same load?

i just need some general tips so i dont end up with shrunk clothes or pink clothes.I have to do laundry. Do i wash socks in hot or cold water? can i mix screen print t-shirts in the same load?
Whites with Whites, and Colors with Colors. White hot, color cold.I have to do laundry. Do i wash socks in hot or cold water? can i mix screen print t-shirts in the same load?
Personally I bleach the socks in cold water. No shirts. The only reason why I wash socks seperately is so I can bleach them because I think they get dirtier than anything, and also I bleach white underwear. I would wash the shirts in a seperate cold load. Cold is always best.
Hear are some laundry pointers:

WHITES- Wash with hot water. Dont put anything of color in this load. (you socks would go with this load, only if they are white, and if you use bleach don't pour it directly on your clothes or you may end up with holes in your clothing)

LIGHT COLORS- wash with warm water (light blue, yellow, light pink...) you never want to put anything red or dark or these clothes can come out a different color.

DARK COLORS- wash with cold water, anything dark would go in this load(red, green,black...)

I recommend hang drying your screen prints shirts, sometimes drying my cause certain fabrics to shrink, and damage the print.

You should be all set to go!
I reccomend washing socks in warm or hot water to kill germs. Generally, just separate the clothes into colored and whites. Things that have both (like a shirt with red and white stripes) usually should be considered ';colors';. Dry it on medium heat and you won't have shrinkage.

Make sure you read the labels, though, some things will need to be dried flat or dry clean only.
Whites in hot water. Bright colors that fade in cold water. Other stuff in warm. Use fabric softener to smell good!
Okay, wash dark socks in cold water, and white socks in hot water. And as long as your t-shirts are the same colour they can be washed together. Generally, I wash darks in cold water, lights in warm water, and whites in hot. And if you don't want pink clothes, don't put something red in hot water with whites.
I save my socks and white dishtowels for their own separate load. Hot water with detergent and bleach, hot dryer. All my other whites went into a warm wash.
Generally, sort your clothes by color: whites in one load (so they don't pick up colors or colored lint from other clothes), light colors in another, and dark or bright colored clothes in another. Generally you can wash whites in warm or hot water but CHECK THE TAGS FIRST! If it says ';wash cold'; (if, for example, it is wool or a sweater of some sort) then follow the directions. Wash the light colored clothes on warm and the bright/dark colors on cold, but again, CHECK THE TAGS FIRST.

If you have items marked ';hand wash,'; you should hand wash them in cold or tepid water, though you might be able to do it in the washing machine (again on cold or tepid water) if you put the item in a pillow case (of a similar color!) and tie it shut.

If, in any of the loads, you have a couple pieces that are marked ';machine wash gentle,'; just wash the whole load on gentle. It won't hurt the ';non-gentle'; clothes at all.

In terms of drying your clothes, it is important to follow the label directions to prevent shrinking, though I think all clothes shrink some in the dryer.

Even following these guidelines though, some things will not turn out well. Laundry is a lot of trial and error and figuring out what works for the particular pieces of clothing you have. Good luck!
You should wash socks (as long as they're white) in hot water. I use bleach, so, no, I wouldn't mix anything else in that can't be bleached.

If you don't use bleach, you can mix the load as long as the shirts aren't a dark color, then use warm water.
whites together colors together now you can have light color say light blue, tan, pink in the same and you could do blue jeans and black clothes together..the other that helps is read the label on the clothes they could tell you how to wash them and how to dry them...
socks should be cold to avoid fading. unless you are referring to a white color. you should have multiple load if you have multiple laundry. all white should be separated from the colors and dark clothing should be separated from the light colors. your jeans should be separated since they are heavy once wet. your bedding's should be separated together with your towels. the white should always use the hot temperature to remove the dirt, sometimes i add some bleach to make it more whitier. i used the tide with the fresh scent to remain that fresh smell on the clothes, unless you want to spend extra for fabric softener.

then, you should read the label, sometimes they have warning if the material will bleed, you don't want that to mix with your light color. and if it indicates dry clean, you know automatically, its for cleaner, it will shrunk if you include it with the regular laundry. unless you use cold water and air dry them, but i suggest take it to the cleaners, i find it effort-worthy in the long run....

regarding the t-shirts, turn it inside out to prevent messing up the print, plus if you use the dryer, you don't want it close to the vent, it will burn the paint and it will distort your t-shirt print...
I always wash white socks and sheets and towels in hot water, I turn all the tees inside out and wash them and colored laundry in warm, and any delicate laundry-lace or stockings in cold. I also change the agitator from normal to delicate for delicates in cold, and my work clothes -I work in A law office-on delicate in warm. the less agitation keeps them in better shape for work. I use the same laundry detergent no matter what speed or temperature. I use the oxyclean detergent ball for everything!
If your socks are really nasty you can wash them separately in hot water. If they are just regularly dirty, you can wash them with your other clothes of like colors in warm water. If you're worried about screen print shirts, turn them inside out and wash them in warm water.
yes. just do it . warm water is better for all.
white socks or colors? always hot water but with white i add bleach. i wouldn't wash the screen prints with them. turn those inside out and wash in either warm or maybe even cold/delicate to preserve the print.
dark clothes- cold

light clothes- warm

i would reccomend putting light pink things in the darks.
