my system is this,I check which color predominates,for example If the shirt is all blue with little white stripes I put it with colors,or if the color that predominates is the white and just a little color,I put it with the whites,never had a problem,if the color is red no matter what,put it with the colors.just for precaution.When doing laundry, what do you wash socks with colour %26amp; white in? And same for tops that have colour %26amp; white?
i would wash the colored socks in the colored clothes with cold water so the colors donut bleed.same with the tops.
Nylon type socks I put in at 60' and fast spin, tops I would put in at 40' and on a slow spin, multicolored cloths are normally colour fast. look at the labels and go by that. You should have helped you mum to learn these things.
